Twenty-one years ago, Kevin Cone began his career in landscaping. Back then, this was part-time work, with a different career path being the primary concern. On May 21, 2008, Kevin was unexpectedly laid off. Along with his wife Ericka, Kevin decided to shift his focus and pursue landscaping full-time.

They were thrilled to be able to hire their first employee just a few months in. It was around this time that they found themselves expanding their services as well. What was once a humble grass-mowing operation now offers irrigation, sod installation, and plantings!

By the second year in business, Palmetto Landscaping & Design added large, commercial properties to the workload. The year ended with new construction contracts. In its third year, Palmetto Landscaping & Design brought in a landscape designer, which changed everything. With this, the company was able to begin working in hardscapes: paver patios, seating walls, fire pits, and more.

With each passing year, Palmetto Landscaping & Design has been fortunate enough to double in business. At the time of this writing, over fifteen years have passed since Kevin and Ericka decided to undergo this endeavor. The company now proudly provides for its numerous employees and is forever grateful for the blessings received along the way.
